Thank you so much for considering sponsoring Oscar!  This will be a MASSIVE challenge for him, but having received a Garmin activity watch for his birthday, he's been determined to try and achieve 100,000 steps in one day.  We're not really sure how long this will take him, but have decided he should set off from home in Caversham at 7am, walk along the river to Marlow (with a lunch stop for refuelling!) and back again.  

One of his school classmates has a family member who works with Launchpad Reading and after they came in to school to discuss the work they do, Oscar felt this would be a charity he would like to support.

We hope to do the walk on Sunday 22nd October, but if the weather isn't kind, we will have to reschedule.
