Story
I am running the London Marathon in memory of my Dad. We lost Dad on 7th January 2016, after finding out he had a brain tumour only 4 months prior.
We miss him every single day - he was truly one of the kindest and most caring people I ever knew, with a sense of humour that nobody can forget. To have had him as my Dad was the greatest gift I could ever receive, even if it was only for the first 17 years of my life.
I'm very lucky to be joined by my Ironman Mum for the marathon - 15th London Marathon, but hopefully her favourite! We'll be thinking of Dad every step of the way and remembering all the special moments we spent as a family.
Dad, I love you more than you will ever know. I'll keep doing my best to make you proud down here - your best Alice x
