I have cried many times reading about Daniel's life story.  He was abused, starved, taunted, tortured and left to die alone in his bedroom for 3 days whilst his mother and father sat and listened to his groans and sobs.  I look at his picture and see the agony in his eyes.  This 4 year old child with such extreme thoughts in his young mind.  School was his 'safe' place.  But, many organisations were involved in Danie's life and still, he suffered so much and then died.  I want to wipe out child abuse and cruelty worldwide.  As a Christian, I am so glad that Daniel is at home with the Lord and knows now what love is.  I am relieved that he has gone because the consequences of abuse and neglect can be lifelong.  God bless the works of the NSPCC and All Others involved in preventing abuse and also cleaning up the mess in their young lives.  I would have fostered Daniel myself and so We need more foster and adoptive parents and resources to wipe this out.  Grace and peace.  Amen.
