Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Many of you were lucky enough to know my amazing brother Ben McKeever. Ben was adored by so many and I’m sure you will all agree with me when I say that when we lost Ben to Type 1 Diabetes, a hole was left in all our hearts.
Ben was only 25 years old when he left us. On that day a lot of people’s worlds fell apart. He had lived with Type 1 diabetes from a very young age and sadly passed away on the 5th October 2015.
Ben was the type of person who, even on your down days, could easily put a smile back on your face. His cheesy grin and all-round cheekiness were enough to light up a room and he never let his condition get in the way of living his life to the fullest.
To celebrate Ben and raise money for those who suffer from whilst living with Diabetes, Mel and I will be running the Cheshire half-marathon on 10th September 2023. Mel is my best friend, who was also one of Ben’s good friends and so we are challenging ourselves to honour his memory.
This is for you Ben, we miss you.
