Story

Rugby Against Cancer has been in existence since 2018, initially, they were supporting rugby players dealing with cancer, but they has since expanded to support individuals and families dealing with this horrible disease.

My colleague, Aaron Beesley, founded the local charity which is run by an army of volunteers.  Their aim is to put a smile on the faces of those going through a terrible time and enhance the lives of people living with cancer.

They have provided games consoles to children to distract them during chemotherapy, made huge cash donations to cancer research charities, bought gifts for children's hospitals as well as raising awareness and supporting the families of those suffering.

This year I'll be running 10 miles in support of Rugby Against Cancer and I hope you will help me raise funds for this brilliant grassroots charity.
