My wonderful mum was diagnosed with breast cancer during the Covid-19 pandemic. She faced radiotherapy and chemotherapy alone because of the strict pandemic rules in place at the time. Thanks to Macmillan, she never felt alone. They supported her (and the family) every step of the way, providing zoom calls, advice on finances, emotional support, to name a few. We really felt like Macmillan went the extra mile to provide my mum with every ounce of support she needed.
