EACH Emergency Appeal Ultra Marathon, 2 June 2020
An emergency appeal for East Anglia's Children's Hospices in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Story

Covid-19 has had a massive impact already on so many people and like many others EACH are experiencing a devastating drop in income as their shops are closed and the vast majority of their supporters fundraising activities and their own events are cancelled or postponed. In the next 12 weeks alone, their loss of income is expected to be around £1,800,000.

In light of this I wanted to do something to try and help and raise awareness of their situation (and that of other similar organisations around the UK), but need your help.Together we can make sure that vital care and support is still available for the children, young people and their families who need EACH, during and beyond this challenging and uncertain time. Unlike hospitals, they rely on the generosity of people like us to fund their services.

So, this coming Tuesday, 2nd June 2020 and 8am I will start a 100 mile run/ (walk) around the farm at home. The route/ circuit is just under 1.4 miles so I will have to complete 73 laps. I will keep a media feed updated as I go, and will be going all day Tuesday, then through the night and I hope to complete it sometime on Wednesday in daylight hours. (fingers crossed)

Please help me support EACH by donating on this JustGiving page and sharing it with friends and families. Thank you for your support and stay safe!
