I am a passionate cyclist but, more importantly, this year I have been exposed more than ever to the stories of people suffering with cancer through family, friends and colleagues.

I've wanted to do this ride for several years but the death of a colleague at Audio Network this year from cancer and the diagnosis of another with leukaemia has really galvanised my efforts and driven me to take part with Audio Network also wanting to support this amazing cause in memory of Graham and in hope of Simon's continued recovery.

I'm also riding in support of family and friends who are currently suffering or have suffered.

Please donate and I really appreciate your support. All the money raised goes directly to the charity and I have separately paid all the logistical costs of the ride.

My target is £2000+ so please give as much as you can!

The Fireflies Tour is an amazing event which has raised loads of money for cancer research and care and creates a strong bond between the people who take part to keep riding and keep fundraising over many years.

The 'Sweet 16*th' FireFlies Tour June 15 - 22 2016:

The Fireflies tour is 7 days of cycling from GENEVA To CANNES which is 1,000 km with 25,512 m climbing across "Les Grandes ALPES" in aid of Beating Blood Cancers. That's three times up Everest folks!

It's not going to be easy!!

Inspired by the Courage it takes to fight Cancer, the riders tackle the most gruelling climbs of Le TOUR de FRANCE. Dedicated to raising Awareness & Funds in the Advertising, Film & Media world, the Tour arrives mid week of Cannes Lions International AD Festival. Since 2001 The FireFlies have Fundraised to support clinical and scientific Research into the Causes & Treatment of Leukaemia and other Blood Cancers at The HAMMERSMITH HOSPITAL in London.

Our Motto is: "FOR THOSE WHO SUFFER WE RIDE". The FireFlies are UNSTOPPABLE - Help us BEAT BLOOD CANCER !
