<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I&nbsp;had a brush with breast cancer last year.&nbsp; I was one of the lucky ones.&nbsp; My lump turned out to be 2 very treatable cysts but the memory of the fear will stay with me forever.&nbsp; I was told that the odds were in my favour and that 9 times out of 10 it was nothing to worry about.&nbsp; While I sat in the waiting room for my x ray and ultra sound I counted 10 women.&nbsp; I realised that 1 of us would get bad news.</p> <p>So I've signed up for Breakthrough's &pound;1000 challenge.&nbsp; Help make that 1 woman's journey a bit easier.</p> <p>I'm taking part in the Stirling Novice Triathlon on 5th June.&nbsp; Help me raise money for a brilliant cause.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Ali xxx</p>
