Story
This is a crazy time, but it's bringing out the best in lots of people. Look at Captain Tom, raising over £28m by walking round his house! I was so inspired by him and I really want to do my bit to help support the amazing NHS.
My aim is to raise money for The Covid 19 Emergency Appeal at Barnet Hospital (whose charity is The Royal Free Charity, charity no 1165672).
I turn 12 on 15th May, so my plan is to rollerblade 100km between now and then - which basically gives me 22 days to skate like the wind! I'll be going round the local roads once a day and making up the rest of the kilometres by going round the turning circle in our Close. Apologies to my neighbours if it makes you feel a little seasick!
It would be amazing if you could support me - and more importantly the NHS - by making a donation on this page. Every single pound will make a difference in helping our NHS heroes to do their job and save lives.
Thanks a million - and keep well,
Alfie
