Don't Tell Alfie What He Can't Do
For 6-year-old Alfie from Galway, a diagnosis of Down Syndrome at birth meant he and his parents were told he wouldn’t be able to do many things. But that was never going to stop him.
Special Olympics provided Alfie with the opportunity to participate in sport from the age of four. Through his club, he has made many friends and has an all-round fitness base meaning that he has not only developed essential social skills but over the past year he has learned many physical skills, like jumping. Now, he can’t stop jumping with joy.
Alfie has big things to come in his journey as a Special Olympics athlete, but this is only possible with your help.
Please, support athletes like Alfie and donate if you can.
