My name is Alfie Wellington and I am nearly 13 years old.

Almost 2 years ago my best friend, Danny Green, died of a brain tumour. Danny was really sick for about 9 months, he fought a tough battle with a horrible disease but sadly in the end he couldn't beat it. He was really brave having lots of treament and he was always cheerful when I visited him so I'm going to be brave and shave my hair for him!

The Danny Green Fund was set up by his mum, dad and big sister and helps to raise money and awareness for children like Danny that, because of the operations they had, they are left with mobility issues, many of them have to learn how to walk and even talk again.

In Danny's memory I have grown my hair over the last year and Easter this year I am going to have it shaved off (however short my school will allow me to have without having to wear a wig!)

It would be great if you could sponser me to help raise money for this amazing charity and for other children like Danny to help them.
