Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Our grandson Alfie started club karting a couple of years ago and this has grown immensely.
Dedicating every spare day and hour to the sport, Alfie regularly finishes on the podium supported by his Grandad Lee and his proud family.
Sadly, Alfie Clarke Racing has recently lost a vital member of its team due to Breast Cancer - his beloved Nanny.
She was the backbone of the team, maker of endless sandwiches, copious amounts of tea and always at the finish line with Alfie’s mum Aimee, ready with big hugs and congratulations for her Alfie.
For a moment, the wind dropped out of the teams sails as they came to terms with their loss and having processed what Nanny would want, With the family support it was agreed "we continue".
With his new liveried pink kart and race suit in support of Breast Cancer Now, Alfie is returning to racing with a view to win- Win for Nanny.
This is not a request for funds towards Alfie's Racing- this is a request for a charitable donation to Breast Cancer Now to help other Nannys like Alfies win their race against Breast Cancer. Alfie and his dad Glen raised awareness in August 2021 by throwing a charity day for families of the community raising over £2000 for two vital charities. Breast cancer now and prostate cancer. This is one dedicated young boy trying to change the future of cancer in anyway he can.
Please help Alfie and Breast Cancer Now to give this disease the chequered flag.
