Story
Hello. My name is Alfie Baugh and I’m 11 years old. I was looking on instagram and saw a story about Leon. Leon is a 5 year old boy who lives close to me in Codsall, Wolverhampton. Leon has cerebral palsy and lives in constant pain. Leon’s family are trying to raise £80,000 for Leon to have surgery to give him his only chance to walk and live pain free. I was touched by his story and I contacted his family to tell them I wanted to help. I will be walking 100 miles for Leon on the 30th March in my school Easter holidays. I will walk for 7 days from Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, where Leon is having his surgery, to Wolverhampton Wolves FC ground, trying to raise money for Leon. I will be walking through Warrington, Alderley Edge, Congleton, stoke, Stafford and back to Wolverhampton. Not only am I walking for Leon but I am also giving up my school trip and donating my trip money of £430 to Leon’s page. Please donate and help me to help my little friend reach his target and live pain free.
Thank you. Alfie Baugh, 11 years
