I am taking on the Sussex HEART FM (aka Southern FM) Arctic Survival Challenge (January 2010) in the wilderness of northern Sweden. A week of surviving chilling temperatures of -30 deg C with 13 others in dug out snow caves, fishing through ice and generally doing a Ray Mears extravaganza all in the name of charity! The main challenge (other than preventing toes and noses from falling off) will be to ensure the presence of unfrozen valuable drinking water and keeping that fire alight!!

No seriously, this challenge is real and important - I feel privileged to go on such a challenge in order to raise valuable money for our Sussex Children, to enrich their lives through education, support and fun. To put BIG smiles on LITTLE faces!
