Story

Hello. Thank you very much for visiting my JustGiving page. I'm running the Brighton Marathon on 14 April 2013 on behalf of the British Heart Foundation. This will be my third marathon and I'm hoping /confident /desperate for a better run than at Brighton 2012 when I hit the wall at mile 19 and limped to the finish 7 secs outside my target time of 4 hrs.

The British Heart Foundation do some wonderful work but unfortunately heart disease is still the biggest killer in the UK. Anything you felt able to contribute would be a help to their research and patient care.

If you have been kind enough to sponsor me before, I'm very happy to take donations on the condition that I beat my previous best time (3 hrs 46 mins at Liverpool last year). My training has gone pretty well (when it hasn't been snowing!!!) and if I can stay clear of injuries I feel I have a decent chance of running a new PB.
