Story
Team,
Myself and few others are taking part in the London to Brighton 100km race on 24th May.
It'll be 10 years since Olivia Chase died from long QT syndrome at the age of 15. Olivia was a hugely special person and this small gesture, in her memory, will raise much needed funds to combat undiagnosed cardiac conditions through the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
CRY is a extremely important organisation that does a great deal to combat the threat of sudden death syndrome (SADS) or death from an undiagnosed cardiac condition. It is at the forefront of research efforts to better understand, screen and diagnose those at risk of SADS. This allows the effective provision of medical information and treatment to those most likely to become a casualty of this tragic illness. In addition, CRY assists those that have gone through the terrible experience of losing a seemingly healthy young person from their family.
Please donate to help raise funds for this wonderful charity so they can continue their essential work now and in the future. £375 is the absolute minimum!
Thanks,
Alex
