Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 7th Feb 2012 my Dad passed away, loosing his battle with Leukaemia.
A strong and ambitious chap, he took life head-on from an early age and had many a far-flung adventure, so a suitably epic challenge is in order!
I'm taking on the South Wales Traverse, planned to take place during the 3rd week in June to coincide with the summer solstice. This is traditionally a fell running route that I'm instead going to walk in as short a time as possible - this will involve around 4-5 days of solid, fast-paced hillwalking, bivyying / camping overnight en route, covering the length of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Dad loved the welsh borderland hills near to where he grew up in Shropshire, so I think he'd be proud.
So please do sponsor me, whatever you feel you want to give, it will be massively appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex
