Story

First of all, thank you for making it this far and having a look at our page, you've done more than most.

If you weren't already aware, Chris and I (along with two other team-mates) are participating in the Race Around Ireland, a non-stop endurance cycling race over a 1,350 mile course around Ireland, which is designed to be 'one of the most gruelling bike races in the world' from the 15-19th September - For those of you who are equally as awful as I am at maths - that's 1,350 miles in 4 days, which means that we'll need to cover around 338 miles (or to make it sound even more impressive, 544km) per day.

The reason for putting ourselves through this somewhat ridiculous race, (aside from wanting a set of highly fashionable tan lines and very sore bums) is to raise as much as we possibly can for The Clatterbrdidge Charity - the charity that funds the centre and people who were responsible for the care of my late Aunty Dolores. We both feel that we want to give something back to these people and their organisation who helped and cared for the family and Aunty Dolores when it was needed most, as well as supporting the continued research the doctors are conducting into cancer prevention and treatment - which is where the money you donate will go directly towards, rather than a general care fund.

Any donation, no matter how big or small would be so greatly received. Anything that will help us contribute to the invaluable efforts of these people is ultimately what we would love to achieve.

Thank you very much for visiting our page and taking the time to read through. Please please please remember that any amount will directly improve people's lives during times where they desperately need help!

Thanks (& Diolch!)

Alex & Chris
