Muddy Dog Challenge Windsor Sunday 2023 · 17 September 2023 ·

We aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be found, no matter how long it takes. We are champions for, and supporters of, vulnerable dogs and cats, determined to create lasting changes for animals in our society.

Story

Alexandra: Since doing fun things isn’t a real challenge, I'm taking part in the "Muddy Dog Challenge" because I haven't run over 100m in more than 20 years and I hate mud. So inspired by my colleagues and in support of Battersea charity, I will run a 5k obstacle course through mud tied to my dog Nala who thinks this is the best idea ever. I have enlisted as co-runners my favourite brother, James, and his equally mud-loving dog Holly to support/shout at me to complete it.
Battersea is a UK-registered charity which rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes both dogs and cats, and shares their expertise with rescue organisations worldwide. Even the smallest of donations helps. Do check whether you can get donation matching through your Work too!
