Winchester to Salisbury Cathedral Walk · 10 September 2016

We provide equine therapy for all ages to help with physical & mental well-being

Story

On 10th September 2016, I will be walking 26 miles from Winchester to Salisbury Cathedral to raise money for the Wilton Branch of the Riding for the Disabled.

We provide therapeutic riding for mentally and physically disabled adults and children, with ages ranging from 3 to 80. We have helped over 200 people in the last year, and it really makes such a difference.

It costs over £80,000 a year to run the centre and, almost uniquely for a large RDA centre, we do not charge our riders. Any donations are enormously appreciated, and help us to continue the work we do.

This is a charity I have been involved with now for nearly 20 years, and am immensely proud of all that the Wilton RDA has achieved in that time and the joy that it has brought to so many riders and their families - and if you felt you could donate anything, I'd be hugely grateful.

Best wishes, Alex.
