Story
My dad passed away on Monday 6th April after a four and a half year battle with Multiple Myeloma. He had a particularly aggressive form of the disease and although he tried many types of treatments over the years eventually his body could not fight it any longer. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a bed at the local hospice near to my dads house. The care and respect they gave to dad in the last week of his life was amazing. Every choice was made based on his needs and they ensured he was in no pain. They also supported my mum, sister and me through the days and nights we spent at his side. Hospices are not funded by the goverment they rely totally on donations and it costs £10,000 a day to run this service. Any money you can give will help them to continue their fantastic work.
Thank you
