Story
I am running for The Daily Telegraph's marathon team and my reasons for running are twofold. Primarily I am running for my wonderful father whom I lost to Cancer in June last year and miss more than anything. Secondly, but equally important to me and my father, is the teams partnership with the British Brain and Spine Foundation – the founder of which saved my brother’s life 17 years ago. This charity continues to be very close to my heart and I am proud to be supporting them.
It is worth pointing out that until last week, I had run less than 5 miles in my entire life. I thank my family and friends for encouraging (persuading) me to do this and hope I can make my father proud.
