Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!!!

Last June 2013, I was in the Royal Surrey County Hospital for a month with bladder problem. In this time I met an inspirational Lady called Margaret, who had terminal Cancer (Brain Tumour). While I was their I became ill and developed seizures, Margaret would always come and sit with me to keep me company and show her support.

Margaret was taken to St George's in Tooting where she had an operation to remove the tumour, at that time I had my doubts that she would pull through but Margaret was strong and recovered. She returned to my ward 2 weeks later, one night when I was asleep. I thought I could hear her voice but in y head I thought it couldn't be, so I looked up with my eyes wide open and there she was!!

Sadly Margaret developed secondary lung Cancer which unfortunately took her life 6 months later.

This women was such an inspiration to me that I want to help raise money for Cancer awareness.

----------

From March 2014, I was given the news that I had a tumour growing in my  Bladder which makes me more determined than ever to fund raise so here I am, on TUESDAY 17TH JUNE 2014, I shall be shaving off my hair in Support of Cancer Research, the following week 24th June, I shall be having an operation to have this tumour removed.
