The Big SleepOut 2016 · 2 December 2016 ·
Hello,
I hate the cold, but I hate that homelessness still exists in the UK, more. I am sleeping outside in a cardboard box on Friday 2nd December (This Friday!!) to raise money so that Trinity can continue doing the work they do. It's rumored to be minus 3, please donate to a great cause!
The work that Trinity does is absolutely fantastic. They work by helping people with homes and jobs by connecting with people. They have a day service called SHOC, in Slough where meals are served and people can are given coaching to help re-build their lives.
- Rough sleeping in London has increased 127% since 2010.
- Last year Trinity provided 71,000 nights of accommodation.
- Trinity served over 27,000 meals in their SHOC centre in 2015.
- 130 people were coached into employment in 2015.
