I’m walking 50 miles over 2 days around our local area with a group of people to raise money for ground breaking new equipment for our local NHS hospitals; equipment which the NHS budget alone would not be able to fund. The equipment we fund is for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients. Every 10 minutes a patient in the local area is diagnosed or treated with equipment funded by Scannappeal. Funds raised from this walk will allow specialist departments to introduce revolutionary new medical practices and services for patients in Bucks and the surrounding area.
