Hello one and all,
THANK YOU for taking an interest in my fundraising activities to support the Circulation Foundation, a small charity dedicated to vascular health by promoting awareness and supporting research.
I first became aware of this charity after the passing of my Dad over Christmas 2017 who was affected by peripheral arterial disease.
My first challenge for the charity was in June 2018 where I successfully swam 1 mile of Lake Windermere. I was joined by my Aunt who swam 1/2 mile and together we successfully raised £1,600.
My second challenge was to run 3 half marathons which I achieved between September and October 2018, raising a further £800. During this time, I had another Aunt who ran the Leeds 10km as well! So it’s been a huge family effort.
On Sunday 3rd October 2021, I will be challenging myself once again by running the London Marathon- pandemic permitting...
With your support, I am looking to raise £1,500 for this small, worthwhile charity. Thanks very much!
