I am taking part in the British 10K run on the 10^th July to raise money for the Children’s Hospice South West.

They provide hospice care for life limited children and their families across the South West. They are the only organisation in the area to provide such care. The support they provide extends to the whole family, for as long as the family requires the charity’s support which may extend for many years.

The charity is almost entirely funded by voluntary donations so I would like to do my little bit in supporting this cause. The charity requires £6m per year to run their two hospices and an additional £5m for the completion of their third hospice, currently being built in Cornwall..

This is a charity close to my heart, being a West Country gal and my mum an avid fundraiser; she even dresses up as a fairy to bag pack in M&S!! (Fancy dress runs in the family!)

So pretty please help me in supporting this amazing charity. And please don’t forget to claim gift aid if you are a UK tax payer – every penny counts.
