Improving clinical outcomes for patients with IgA nephropathy by translating scientific advances through collaborations with academic, charitable and industrial sectors.

Story

In October 2011 our lives were changed forever when Dan was diagnosed with Iga Nephropathy- this led to the complete failure of both his kidneys and ultimately dialysis to keep him alive. There is no effective treatment for Iga Nephropathy and unfortunately it reoccurred in his first kidney transplant after 18months. Dialysis followed for a few years before he was lucky enough to receive a kidney from the transplant list and thankfully so far the Iga has not returned. More research needs to be done to find a cure for Iga or to provide better treatment for this disease. If you can sponsor me I’d be very grateful for this charity which is so close to my heart. Many thanks
