Story
In August 2021 my dad suffered an epileptic fit which was the beginning of his journey today. On the eve of his 61st birthday in November 2021, we were told it was a brain tumour. The full diagnosis in March 2022, following surgery and a tumour reassessment, informed that it was stage four brain cancer.
My dad has now arrived at a state of acceptance and is moving forward with a positive outlook to fight back against this relative rare life limiting disease. As often the case with these types of diagnosis, NHS and BUPA treatment can only go so far. My Dad is currently self-funding treatment in Germany through the ATGesundheit Institute.
