Dementia is something very close to my heart as most people in their lives will be touched by dementia, be it a relative, a friend or themselves. We have know about dementia for as long as we’ve known about cancer yet we still are far from finding a cure. This disease is devastating & doesn’t care who it touches.  

I have watched 3 grandparents be eaten away by this disease and it was utterly heartbreaking. Because of this I wanted to do more for people living with dementia.

I took a 4 year career break to work with people living with dementia and this was also over the covid period. This was one of the hardest and saddest but also most rewarding jobs I’ve ever done. Doing a job to give back was incredible. I have ran Elf Day to support the Alzheimer’s Society for the last 6 years and am so happy Rolls-Royce are supporting me continuing this now I’m back with the company.
