Story

Alex and Maisie are taking part in the Spartan Kids race at Twickenham Stadium on 23rd November.

They will climb, crawl, jump, throw, run and get covered in mud whilst hoping to raise as much money as they can in aid of Shooting Star Children's Hospice and in memory of their beloved cousin Jack.'s
Jack spent a week of his very short life at Shooting Star's Christopher's Hospice where the staff allowed him to be a normal baby and allowed us as a family to make precious memories. Jack was born on 26th April 2019 with holes in his lungs and chronic kidney disease and spent the first 2 weeks of his life in numerous hospitals before being moved to Christopher's for palliative care. Jack past away aged just 26 days old. Shooting Star continue to support our family, providing amazing aftercare for Jack's parents, Michael and Kirsty and his 3 year old sister Isla.

Shooting Star rely on donations to keep their 2 amazing Hospice's running. They provide an invaluable service in what is the worst possible situation and make this as easy and calming as possible. I can't praise them enough for what they did for Jack and our family.
