On May 17th, I'm going to be trekking the five peaks with my colleagues at Real and Smooth Ltd. to help try and raise some money for two great causes.
Duchenne Now fund research to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystophy, which is a fatal muscle wasting disease that affects young boys. I'm also going to be raising money for Charity Challenges for Kids - they fund operations abroad for children with Cerebral Palsy and Neuroblastoma.
Five peaks - all more than 800 metres high. Are you mad? Yes probably. But I've always wanted to challenge myself with something like this. I'm sure as a team, we can get there!
The Lake District Five Peaks Challenge is a famous, tough challenge starting and finishing at Wasdale Head in the Lake District. The trek summits the five peaks below in order and includes the highest mountain in England, Scafell Pike.
