JCCC Graphic Design Showcase 2021 · 4 March 2021

The JCCC Graphic Design program seeks funding for its annual graduating portfolio showcase. Graduates display their portfolios, network with the creative professional community, and discuss their talents. Many of these vital connections lead to jobs.

Story

I am excited to be a Graphic Design program candidate for graduation this spring from Johnson County Community College. I also am excited to participate in the annual graduating portfolio showcase -- Pathfinder. But, I need your help. Each participating student is being asked to raise $200 toward our overall goal for this virtual event. That's where I will display my portfolio, network with the creative professional community, and discuss my talents and strengths with potential employers. Some of these connections and conversations lead to jobs. I am hoping that will be the case for me. In a typical year, our club would be having various fundraising events on campus. Unfortunately, COVID precautions prevent us from doing that because the campus is closed to most student activities. That's why we're using crowdfunding as our main fundraiser this year.
