Story

I am running:

-ALL 6 World Marathon Majors (London, Berlin, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, and Boston)

...in 1 year

...FASTER than anyone has ever run a complete one year series*

...in order to raise money for Asylum Welcome, a brilliant Oxford-based charity welcoming refugees to the area. It offers support to unaccompanied minors, runs a food bank, provides English-lanaguge teaching, supports legal advice, offers practical support...and relies heavily upon volunteers and donations.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Abbott World Marathon Majors is a series consisting of six of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world. The races take place in Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and New York City.

I am running them between April 2017 and April 2018 ("Series XI"), finishing on Monday 16th April 2018 in Boston.

*According to Abbott, over 2000 people are recorded as completing all six marathon majors. 32 of them have completed the Marathon Majors in a single year. Michael Wardian holds the record for fastest calendar year. I am attempting to run the fastest single Series (in this case, Series XI).

So far, I have completed the first five in 2:38, 2:39, 2:40, 2:46, and 2:46.
