Donating hair · 11 December 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Many years ago, when I met Cassie, she was donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust. I remember thinking at the time about how awesome this was and also "I have a lot of hair - why don't I grow it and donate too?". 6 years later (after some emotional attachment to the hair) - IT IS TIME! Donating hair to this fantastic charity is only half the challenge. The Little Princess Trust require financial donations to support the process of making wigs themselves.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
