We may not be able to watch the sun rise together this year but that doesnt mean we cant virtually watch it together

Story

On the longest day of the year (20th June) Rosie and I will be getting up at 4am and walking 20km to raise money for Shooting Star Children's Hospices.

I'm not a huge fan of asking people for money, particularly at this time, so for every £1 you donate, GhostApps LTD (Company no 12312893) will match what you give.

The route (that was going to be run as an official event by the charity) incorporates the two main walks we have been doing whilst under lockdown.

The severity of our financial losses due to the cancellation of events and fundraising plans, as well as the closure of our charity shops due to the coronavirus pandemic is undeniable. We are predicting a shortfall of more than £2 million, putting the future of Shooting Star Childrens Hospices in the balance so we need your support more than ever.We are devastated that we have had to cancel this years Sunrise Walks. The walks were due to bring in over £130,000 of much needed funds as well as bringing together our amazing families, friends and supporters however, just because we cant watch the sunrise together, it doesnt mean we cant virtually watch it together.
