First of all thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Alexander Allen I am currently studying for my A Levels at Highlands School in Enfield. After this I am taking a year out volunteering in Guyana. Whilst there I will be teaching both maths and science in remote schools to children less privileged than myself. I have been fortunate enough to receive a good education, and I'm looking to pass on my experiences to those who haven't been as lucky.

In order to volunteer in Guyana i had to spend a week in Scotland where I underwent a selection course. During which I was put to the test to see if I had what it takes to complete this once in a life time experience. So later this year I will move to Guyana to start 'a year to be proud of'.

However for this to be possible I need to raise the money to fund this trip. In total I need to raise... £4850

I hope to raise as much as possible through events at school, but if I am to reach my target I will need additional donations. So all donation no matter how small will be appreciated.
