Running Manchester Marathon to raise money for British Heart Foundation in memory of my amazing Mom, who died suddenly from heart failure in July. The pain experienced over the last three months has been debilitating and the more research that can be done to prevent people from dying too soon, the better.
My energy levels have taken a beating lately and fairly sure running 26.2 miles is not advised on barley any training. However, I am hoping to reach the finish line before sunset and know your support will help motivate me to do this.
My Mom, a northern lass from Preston, would be chuffed to bits to know I was running the Manchester Marathon and hope I can do her proud. There is nothing we can change about what has happened but I hope my actions in running this marathon goes towards helping others from not having to experience what we have.
Thanks for your support!

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
