We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

I couldn’t think of a team that I would want to support more - I’ve worked with ARUK regularly for many years and they are so hardworking, supportive and passionate in their drive to find a cure for diseases that cause dementia.

Dementia is a topic close to my heart, both in my work and on a personal level. Having lost someone very close to me through dementia I would love nothing more than to play a tiny part in helping find a cure so that other families don’t have to face the same thing in the future. It’s a cruel, scary and heartbreaking disease but I have every faith that one day there will be a solution, and I want to do all I can to support that.

From the off I have a long way to with fitness, which is slightly worrying, but I will train hard and run, walk or crawl over that finish line for ARUK. If anyone wants to support me besides giving a donation, please join me for a training run. I’d love your support. For all those donating, thank you.
