Story
Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.
Liz was the absolute life and soul of everywhere she went. She was the kindest, funniest, most selfless person you could ever meet.
On Saturday 16th May, I should have been in London doing the Moonwalk full marathon in Liz 's memory. Now that restrictions have relaxed, I am going to do the 26 mile walk but it will be in Stamford, Liz's home town. It will be a challenge, as I'll be alone rather than at a big organised event, but Liz had grit and determination and so will I.
So please dig deep (I know times are tough) and support Thorpe Hall Hospice in loving memory of Liz! The show must go on xxx
