As you know I have started doing the ride back in 1998 when Claire and I lost a baby. Since then the list of friends or family that have been severly affected by heart disease has been growing longer and longer.

Last year we mourned Jeff Payne and later in the year, my cousin Peter died, too. He was only 59.

Heart disease can affect us all so I hope you will support the British Heart Foundation by sponsoring me on this year's London to Brighton bike ride.
