Fundraising for Rotherham Hospice
Story
Hello to each of my family and friends.
Yes you are reading this right! For some reason I have agreed and signed up to run another half marathon. This time I am challenging myself to run the Derby half marathon yet again for the amazing charity which is the Rotherham Hospice.
As you are aware and if you didn't know we lost a very special woman towards the end of 2015 to cancer. Jeanette Reed was an amazing mum to me, sister, wife, daughter, auntie, cousin and friend to many people.
During several occasions in 2015 and the last days of Jeanette's life were spent in the Rotherham Hospice. This place and the people that work there were unbelievable and made Jeanette's last few days as comfortable as possible for both Jeanette and every family member/friend that visited at such a difficult and tragic time. The Rotherham Hospice is a charity really close to my heart and they really do not get enough credit for the work they carry out and therefore I love to help out wherever I can.
