Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
During my dads recent treatment at the Royal Sussex County Hospital it struck me how little I could do to actually help him.
Following his initial treatment my mum and dad wanted to give some money to the Sussex Cancer Fund for all the great work they do. That's where I thought I could have the opportunity to help... by doing something a little bit mad!
Starting 6th March 2018 I will be doing my daily commute to work and back, for one set of shifts (6 days) on a unicycle. That's over 26 km per day for 6 days totaling just over 158 km (99 miles.) Anyone who has ever tried to ride a unicycle will realize how hard (and not to mention uncomfortable) it is to even try and ride 99 meters, and those of you who haven't tried i'm sure can imagine! All of this whilst working 9 hour shifts in between will quite frankly be pretty grim so I really hope we can raise some much needed funds for this great charity.
