So! You've most likely come here because you know me. I'm fundraising for VSO. They are a great charity who send Volunteers overseas to help in all sorts of ways.

In July, I'll be flying out to Nepal with about 15 other volunteers. If you know me, you'll be aware I haven't been abroad since I was 13 and I've been on a plane once, so this is quite a big thing for me! I'll be going to help with with Sexual and Reproductive Health, and also to help recover in any way I can after the disastrous effects of the earthquake.

Before I go, I'm raising money for the charity themselves. This money won't be going towards the cost of my my visit, it's going towards the future of VSO, to continue the excellent work they're doing. £800 is a lot of money, but I'm sure with the help of everyone I will get there. I don't have long, my fundraising deadline is 14th of May. I'm not just asking for money, I'll also be doing a bake sale, washing cars for moneys, anything I can do to try and get the moneys in! You

You may have a few reservations about whether it is sensible to send volunteers to Nepal at this difficult time, but please rest assured that VSO are checking out the situation and won't send me at a time, or to a place where I am a hindrance, and want me to have as much of a positive impact as possible.
