As you may know, I have been in and out of virtually every hospital in the group over the last decade. Since I have become increasingly reliant on my TREKINETC wheelchair, the event organisers have opened a wheelchair class for me so I could be a winner … in a class of one!

I am allowed to nominate a department to whom funds can be directed and so I would like the stomatherapy nurses to get your support. Stomatherapy is the lifeline for many cancer and colonic surgery patients but is a taboo subject for some – please show your appreciation of the nurses’ work by making a donation!

Your support will make a difference to patients and staff across our local hospitals.
