Story

Alex was a long standing member of the Camberley Arena squash club.  A few years ago, he was diagnosed with MND and despite battling all the way through to late last year Alex lost his fight.

He played in the Camberley Arena squash leagues and was the team organiser for a number of years before his unexpected diagnosis.  He gave a great deal of time, effort and support to the club over the years and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of meeting and playing squash with him.

The tournament will be held on Sunday 18th August 2019 at the Arena leisure centre in Camberley and is our way of getting together to remember Alex and raise money for the MND Association.  The winner will receive the "Alex Phillips" trophy and we will consider running the even annually if it is a success.
