Story
Hi All!
I'm taking on the RideLondon100 and cycling 100 miles for Dementia UK. I am cycling with 4 friends and we have been training hard over the last few weeks to prepare ourselves for the ride.
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
It would be fantastic if you can support us with our fundraiser. Dementia UK is an amazing organisation and for me this ride is very personal as my grandfather has advancing Dementia. For further information on the charity please go to www.dementiauk.org.
Many thanks for your support.
Alex
