Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

SANDS is a very special charity for my wife & I as Jake, our beautiful first baby was stillborn on 17th September 2012. He will live in our hearts forever.

SANDS are carrying out much needed work to raise awareness and research ways to reduce stillbirths in the UK. On average 11 babies are stillborn everyday in the UK which is one of the worst rates of any developed country. The number of stillbirths has not reduced for over 20 years, whilst stillbirths in other developed countries have fallen by up to 50%.

All your generous donations will help SANDS to promote research and changes in practice that could help to reduce the loss of babies' lives.

Many thanks.
