Story
On 29th June 2022 I and 18 other intrepid cyclists are leaving from London to cycle to Paris in aid of Halton Haven Hospice! Led by the evergreen Paul O'Neill, we will be making our way through over 300 miles of French countryside to Paris to raise much needed funds for the Halton Haven Hospice.
All money raised will support vital services for patients facing their last journey, their families and friends. The Hospice has seen several recent events cancelled due to COVID, so it's more important than ever to support them and enable them to continue providing the invaluable care and support that means so much to so many.
Halton Haven Hospice is just that. A haven of tranquility for those travelling on their final journey and for the family, friends and community of Halton.People like you support us each year to give specialist end of life care. Without your generosity of spirit we couldn't care for the patients, their families, friends & others who have lost loved ones. Our services include a 12 bed inpatient unit. We specialise in providing person centred, holistic comfort and care. Life in the Hospice includes having fun and celebrating as well as making memories. We also have an open visiting policy which is both pet and child friendly. Our Day Hospice provides complimentary therapies, a listening ear & social opportunities. Its a place to make friends whilst feeling free to discuss subjects that you may not wish to broach with anyone else. We even have a fishing club The Halton Hookers! In our Family Support Unit we are able to offer support & counselling for those who have suffered loss
